2009 Fortuner is out here in the middle-east, and the new specifications shows that Toyota cares about customer feedback. All previously criticized issues in the older models have been well addressed in the new model, including:
1. A larger fuel tank, now it carries an 80 Liter fuel tank for the V6 (I think only for the V6)
2. Air vents on the roof for second and third rows, rather than only on the right side and only for the third row
3. Cruise control for the Manual transmission
4. Availability of traction control and VSC (not in the Gulf region though, but probably will be available in ZA)

In addition to the improved interior and exterior designs. Thank you Toyota, although I'm not going to sell mine now.
